As a PlayStation Plus member you are currently entitled to two free games per month per Sony console. As of now that means you receive two games for the PS4, PS3, and Vita. But you knew that already didn’t you? So although that may not be news to you, this may:

As of August 5th the following titles will be made available to download free for all PS Plus members:

Road Not Taken (PS4):

A rouglike puzzle game by the creators of Triple Town. You play as some hooded dude (a ranger evidently) wandering through a forest trying to save children who have lost their way. So nice of you. Now what could a grown adult in a hood that completely conceals his face possibly want with a bunch of lost defenseless kids? I’m sure it’s all very chivalrous. In any event, the levels are procedurally generated which means no two play troughs are exactly the same.

FEZ (PS4):

According to the developers, Gomez is a 2D creature living in a 2D world. Or is he? When the existence of a mysterious 3rd dimension is revealed to him, Gomez is sent out on a journey that will take him to the very end of time and space. Ummm… OK. Well that description may have not done it for you because it didn’t do anything for me. But then i watched the trailer and i became a bit interested. Check it out below.

Crysis 3 (PS3):

You know it, you love it, get it for free in August on  the PS3.

Proteus (PS3):

Proteus is a game about exploration and immersion in a virtual world. It features an award winning soundtrack by David Kanaga and procedurally generated worlds.

Metrico (PS Vita):

This is an odd one. It looks to be a platformer where the world is built from pie charts and graphs. Take a look at the video below to see what i’m talking about.

Dragon’s Crown (PS Vita):

Now this is what i’m talking about. I’ve been eyeing this game for a while and now its the perfect price. This game has received tons of positive reviews and is on many Vita top 10 lists. I’ll let you know what I think soon.

About Krampus

Gaming has been a passion of mine as long as I can remember. I started playing PC games while many of you reading this were probably still sucking your thumbs. I grew up during the birth of home computing and the the great console wars waged between Nintendo and Sega. My magazines of choice were Nintendo Power and EGM. Needless to say, I've been a part of the gaming community for a long time and bring this experience to my reviews and articles here at ProGameReviews.
